Avenues To Create A Direct Sales Team By Finding People Offline

With the influx of internet recruiting, direct sales consultants have started to forget about the all important task of browsing for new people locally. However, building a sales business with offline recruits is still a tremendous way to increase your business endeavor and one you can utilize from the start.

It doesn't matter if you have an online store/business or an offline endeavor, you could be losing out if you aren't marketing off the web. Therefore, here are a few ideas for promoting your endeavor, and also getting new recruits, in your own area:

You can always join a community job fair. Put together a stand and spread your message. Hand out brochures about your company, answer questions regarding your company opportunity, and make yourself available for everybody who's interested. Hold a drawing for a free gift as a means of getting perspective leads to put on to your e-mail list, as well as creating goodwill. Don't forget, a treat, like complimentary brownies, will almost always gives a person passing ample motivation to last for at least a few minutes to hear about what you can give.

Create a nice flyer. You will of course want to create a flyer with tear-off tabs on the bottom with your email, phone # and website address. After that, post those flyers all over town at banks, laundromats, dollar stores, book stores, libraries, music stores, thrift shops, universities, trade schools, day cares, and other businesses with boards that are there for this purpose. Make a report of everywhere you posted your flyer, and make it a point to routinely go back and make sure your flyer remains there in great condition.

Use business cards. Business cards have been neglected lately, but they never should be. Make sure you have great business cards made with simple information about your business opportunity. Of course you'll have to have complete contact info, as well. Now, give them to everyone you meet. Ask friends and family members to help you get the message abroad by distributing those business cards where they work or stores they frequent.

Sign up for a local business networking group. Propagate your endeavor with like-minded people. And while some of the larger groups may be cost prohibitive, smaller groups may be surprisingly cost effective. And also, bumping shoulders with like minded individuals will do a lot for your motivation

If you can't find a local networking group, begin your own group. They're easy to maintain and you might be surprised how many other small and home based business owners might be searching for that type of opportunity to promote their own endeavors and raise their self improvement.

Post a small classified ad in your local newspaper or community shopper. These ads could be self paid with one brand new recruit and can help get the word out about your business opportunity every week.

Make innovative recruiting bags and gifts. Use a gift bag or a clear plastic bag and fill it with a few fun and informative items like, a sample product, a stub from your highest commission check, a brochure regarding your endeavor, a business card or, a miniature Payday candy bar.

Add some colorful shredded paper and seal it with a decorative label that has your complete contact information. Those will be great tools for reaching new recruits in banks and stores you frequent. Remember your own home party you host for your sales business. Ensure that you keep these recruiting gift bags handy and hand them out to prospective recruits at every party.

There are many of ways to begin building your business with offline recruits. The key is to look for opportunities to propagate your opportunity with everyone you come into contact with and your business will start to grow before you know it!
